  • Approach & Achievements:
    The training was very light, therefore I had to develop my skillls almost on my own.
    Once the process was handled the goal has been to identify the proofreading time per method and set a provisional schedule.
    Every proofreading have a record of every reviews and those are sent to writer.
    A KPI tool has been developped by the team to track what are the root cause of rejected method.
  • Context & Objectives:
    Since 2010 VOLVO TRUCK implemented a new data base to ensure the repair manual edition for the new range released between 2012(volvo) and 2013 (RT). This software is GRIPS, this is a common tool used in every site to support every brand of the groups.
    The advantages of this software:
    Is to share common instructions between the different brand and range sharing the same equipment.
    Is to lower the cost of translation thanks to the software which manage an automized translation of generic sentences validated along the writing of the method.
    Objectives as CQA:
    • Ensure repair manual quality based on different criterias as illustrations, repect of guidelines, structure, reuse of information.
    • Contribute via the CQA global team to develop a global way of working.
    • Prioritize work based on activty schedule.
  • Results & added value:
    My role was to ensure that every method would be avaible including a high level quality for the release of the new range on the market.
    The goal has been reached, now the objectives is to keep the quality level updating guidelines.
  • Ensuring assistance to the dealer when is coping difficulties with the spare documentation.
  • Prioritise the treatmnent of the claim according the queu and severity

  • The goal of this activity is to obtain some action plans in order to improve the service
    quality towards our customers.

  • Approach & Achievements:
    Within 2 months 200 dealers have been audited in france, I supported french drivers.
    The rest of the audit has been done over more than 12 countries adding up to more than 120 dealers audited.
    Every audit has to be stored accurately, according this direction I developped pragmatic tools to ensure that the data extraction is done correctly.
  • Results:
    At the end of the campaign the analysis of the data provide us good indicators to see where the job is done correctly or not and to understand what kind of action should be launched in way to tackle issues.

    • Assist the audit manager.
    • Support the drivers performng the undercover audit.
    • Ensure that collected inpunts are as consistent as possible

  • Results & added value:
    Over the years more than 40 BIW has been analysed which allow to keep track of BIW evolution.
    Thanks to the analysisengineering trend was highlighted as the use of hight strengh steel, the use of new welding solution leading to some weight reductions.
    The Partnership we had with the chinese went well and was a good opportunity to build ties with China in way to start businnes there, unfortunately MAVEL collapsed just afterward.
  • Approach & Achievements :
    The activity has been initiated by providing the service to only one customers, along the first studies we build up a certain relationship learning their know how and processes.

    Two years later:
    The exclusive contract has been stopped because our customer asked for cost reduction therefore the offer was to provide the current analysis as a common analysis to different customers.
    The content and template has been reviewed to fit to every requests.
    Four years later:
    I had to lead the team and I had to improve our process to be quicker and to be able to supply further information in the same time schedule in regards with the quality.
    Every years it happened that we had been asked special analysis, I had to provide to my boss all the inputs related to the contract, and report him the feasibility of the work.
    I had been put in charge to perform a BIW analysis in CHINA within CHERY company with which we started a partnership.
    The mission last 2 months and Ihad to lead a team of 5 chinese engineer.
  • Specific studies : Carbody analysis of a Chinese car, done in China within the
    company of a Chinese carmaker which is called CHERY,
    management of 5 persons.
  • Context:
    Mavel was a benchmarking company which provided competitive analysis about Automotive equipment and BIW.
    Customers was company from automotive industry as carmakers or suppliers.

    Objectives:
    First year:
    • Launching the BIW activity for a new customer.
    • Keep this new crontract.
    Following years:
    • Ensure the supply of 5 BIW analysis per year.
    • Provide data edited in english
    • Being ready to provide further analysis
  • Regular studies : Inform a data base in oder to emphasize the assembly process of the BIW, archives photos, materials analysis, body architecture, cutting point….
